TV Azteca facture US$ 22,5 millones en trois mois (1º trimestre 2016) sur la fibre optique business, en Colombie et au Pérou!
- Les ventes de Azteca Comunicaciones Colombie pour les services de télécommunications à travers le réseau de fibre optique qui exploite l'entreprise dans ce pays ont totalisé 114 millions de pesos (6,49 millions de dollars), soit une croissance de +41% par rapport les 67 millions enregistrés à la même période l'année dernière (3,81 millions de dollars).
- Pendant ce temps, le Pérou Azteca Communications, qui a lancé la construction du Backbone National Fiber optique-a eu des revenus de 281 millions de pesos (16 millions de dollars) dans les remboursements du gouvernement péruvien pour les paiements effectués par la société à la construction du réseau.

Azteca Comunicaciones Peru —subsidiary of TV Azteca that is building the Red Dorsal Nacional de Fibra Óptica fiber optic network in that country— had revenue of Ps.281 million in reimbursements from the Peruvian government for payments made by the company for the construction of the network.
As previously announced, the government provides the funds for both the construction and operation of the network through a 20-year concession and TV Azteca will commercialize the telecommunications services in 339 locations. The construction started in December 2014 and has an estimated 18-month construction period. "

Fiber-optic network in Peru
As previously announced, Azteca Comunicaciones Perú ̶ a subsidiary of TV Azteca ̶ completed the deployment of the 13,500 kilometers of the Red Dorsal Nacional de Fibra Óptica of the country, which will offer telecommunications services in approximately 80% of Peruvian territory. The government provided the funds for the construction and provides resources for the operation through a 20 year concession, and Azteca will commercialize the telecommunications services in 339 population centers.
TV Azteca’s administration is in the process of updating the valuation and perspectives of its investments in telecommunications in Peru, as previously requested by the Board, in order to determine its consistency with the strategic definition of the company. Based on this analysis TV Azteca will formulate a plan of action regarding these investments."
