Add TV for an extra £8 a month
If you're signing up to any of EE's broadband deals,
you can add EE TV for an additional £8 a month.
With EE TV you get a set top box with access to more than 70 Freeview channels, including 11 in HD. You can pause and rewind live TV and record up to 600 hours of standard TV or 300 hours of HD, as well as being able to access on demand and catch-up services including NOW TV and BBC iPlayer.
As you can watch EE TV through your phone or tablet as well as on your actual television, your family will be able to watch four different programmes around the home at the same time – that should put an end to those arguments over the remote control.
EE TV's interactive guide will show you when a programme is trending on Twitter and you can even personalise the guide to suit your own TV tastes. The 'Flick and Fetch' feature also lets you move whatever you're watching from your phone to your TV, or vice versa, with a flick of your finger.
"In the second half of this year (2018), Netgem will release NetBox 4K and AirPlay and Dolby Digital support, and will launch the SoundBox 4K with additional microphones to enable voice control without the need for a separate Alexa device." Any hopes for these super hardware on EE TV?!
