4K PLEIO Streaming Device sells out, on Amazon, in HOURS!
Speaking to Cord Busters, Netgem UK’s managing director Sylvain Thevenot said the company had seen “seen exceptional demand for PLEIO”.
“While we knew the UK was ready for a modern, aerial-free TV experience, the speed at which the public embraced this new proposition took us by surprise, and we sold out of our initial allocation on Amazon in under 24 hours,” he explained.
“We have already shipped a significant new wave of devices to replenish stock, but given the Black Friday volume, Amazon’s fulfilment centres are taking a few days to process and scan new inventory.”

To get the 63 "Customer reviews" (at 22/12/2025) on one product in AMAZON UK, how many units are necessary to be sold proximately (estimation)?
RépondreSupprimerIA answer:
1) "Most Realistic Estimate For a typical consumer product with no aggressive follow-up:
👉 ~2,500 to 4,000 units sold to reach 63 customer reviews"
2) Quick Rule of Thumb:
Every 1 review ≈ 40–60 sales
So: 63 reviews × ~50 sales ≈ 3,150 units
3)
Typical Amazon Review Rate On average: 1–3% of buyers leave a review (Some niches are lower at ~0.5%, some higher at 5%+, but 1–3% is a widely used benchmark.)
Estimating Units Needed for 63 Reviews Using that range: At 1% review rate → ~6,300 units sold At 2% review rate → ~3,150 units sold At 3% review rate → ~2,100 units sold
SP Base Sizes & Potential PLEIO Installations
RépondreSupprimer1) brsk (BetterTV with PLEIO)
Brsk is a smaller regional ISP that has been expanding its full-fibre footprint.
Recent updates show brsk’s network now passes ~27,000 homes, with roughly 2,000 customers connected over the last ~10 months (as of late 2025) in parts of West Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester.

👉 Estimate for PLEIO installs:
Best case (upper bound): If most current customers took the PLEIO-enabled BetterTV service immediately after launch → ~2,000 units
More realistic (penetration ≤50% initially): ~500–1,000 units
💡 Rationale: Not all broadband customers instantly adopt a bundled TV service, especially powerful devices like PLEIO.
2) WightFibre (WightFibre TV)
WightFibre has ~25,000–30,000 broadband customers connected as of mid-2025.
WightFibre

WightFibre TV, powered by PLEIO, launched in late November 2025.
WightFibre
👉 Estimate for PLEIO installs:
Upper bound: If 30–50% of customers adopt the TV service quickly → ~7,500–15,000 units
More conservative: ~3,000–8,000 units
💡 Rationale: Many WightFibre customers might be renters or coastal homes that may value streaming TV; adoption rate may be higher than in typical ISP bundles.
3) Connect Fibre (Connect TV with PLEIO)
Connect Fibre is more of a nationwide regional ISP, but public sources do not list a specific customer count.
However, similar UK altnet ISPs (small regional providers) often have 5,000–50,000 customers in early growth phases.
Point Topic
👉 Estimate for PLEIO installs:
If ~10,000 customers total: ~2,000–5,000 PLEIO units (10–50% adoption)
If smaller base ~5,000: ~1,000–3,000 units
💡 Rationale: Early uptake may be modest as the TV bundle is new and rolling out.
📊 Combined Estimated PLEIO Units (ISP Channels)
RépondreSupprimerFrom 21 Nov 2025 to late Dec 2025 (≈ 1 month):
ISP Low Estimate Realistic High Estimate
brsk ~500 ~800 ~1,000
WightFibre ~3,000 ~6,000 ~8,000
Connect Fibre ~1,000 ~3,000 ~5,000
✅ Total (approx) ~4,500 ~9,800 ~14,000
So a reasonable midpoint estimate would be:
👉 ~8,000–10,000 PLEIO units deployed through the three ISPs to date.

Que pensez-vous de ce estimation du CA pour décembre 2025 (basée uniquement sur les ventes de PLEIO au Royaume-Uni) ?
