The Relation Between JioGames and Netgem The relationship between the two entities is defined by infrastructure acquisition and premium content delivery:
• The Gamestream Connection: In 2023, JioGames originally signed a 10-year partnership with a French white-label cloud gaming specialist called Gamestream to power its JioGamesCloud backend infrastructure and casual game catalog. In late 2024, Netgem officially acquired Gamestream’s cloud gaming activities. Through this acquisition, Netgem absorbed the active contracts and directly took over the commercial relationship to become the technology and content provider for Jio Games in India.

Because Netgem negotiates distribution rights with major Western game publishers, they are able to bring mainstream titles to the Indian market via Jio's network. For example, Netgem partnered with 2K Games to officially bring Mafia: Definitive Edition and Mafia II to the JioGames platform.
• Synergy with Jio’s 5G Networks: Netgem leverages Jio's low-latency 4G and True 5G networks in India to stream high-end interactive titles smoothly to millions of households using Jio Set-Top Boxes and mobile devices.
