The 12 ultrafast fibre broadband providers who have signed distribution deals with netgem.tv to bring the TV streaming service to their customers in the UK and Ireland are:
BritBox debuts on netgem.tv

The ITV-BBC subscription platform will be available in the HD format for £5.00 per month.
In addition netgem.tv is also adding an extra 15 HD channels to its line-up.
Britbox has also signed agreements with Freeview Play and YouView, in which the PSBs are leading partners, and the mobile network EE. However, it is yet to sign with Sky, Virgin or BT.
The new channels being added are: sports channels Xtreme Sports, Speed TV, Sports TV and Football TV, gaming and esports channels Frag TV and Gaming TV, entertainment channels Gossip, Movies News and FNTV; food channels Taste Made and Cooking TV; nature channel Nature Vision; and music channels Karaoke TV, DJTV and Clubbing TV.

(7 NOVEMBER 2019 • The BBC and ITV have launched their online video service in the UK as the British broadcasters hope to challenge Netflix as the streaming wars hot up.
Originally launched as a joint venture for the US market, ITV, which owns 90pc of BritBox, is now targeting expanding the service and adding more revenues beyond traditional advertising.
BritBox will also add content from Channel 4 and Channel 5. The streaming service will initially be focused on box sets of older shows, while new shows will remain on BBC iPlayer and ITV's Hub. However, the broadcasters are planning exclusive series that will air on BritBox....).

BBC and ITV joint-venture streaming service BritBox has launched to the public and struck fresh partnerships with UK broadcasters Channel 4 (C4) and BT, mobile provider EE and tech giant Samsung.
BritBox has agreed a three-year deal with C4 giving it a total of 1,000 hours of UK TV boxsets and films from C4’s online service All 4 and movie channel Film4 respectively.
The new streaming service will incorporate All 4 into its platform next spring, with new series being made available a month after the transmission of their final episode on C4. Film4 will join BritBox later in 2020.
Both BT and EE will reveal details of the deal over the coming months

Finlande auprès de son partenaire Elisa de son offre de services de gestion de parc pour la 4K
et l’ultra haut débit, et en Grande Bretagne auprès des premiers opérateurs alternatifs Fibre.
En France, avec Vitis, le Groupe continue de connaître une croissance soutenue de son activité
d’opérateur alternatif sur la Fibre en régions, et finit l’année avec une croissance de 42%.
A la suite notamment de l’évolution des règles de gouvernance entre Netgem et ses associés
au sein de Vitis prévue à l’occasion du nouveau financement, Vitis serait exclusivement
contrôlée par Netgem, et à ce titre devrait être consolidée par intégration globale."

... si Vitis serait au futur proche exclusivement contrôlée par Netgem, il est prévisible que les deux autres actionnaires de vitis.TV (Caisse des dépôts et groupe Océinde) entreront dans le capital de Netgem, prochainement, donc...de nombreux titres de netgem changeront de mains...!

RépondreSupprimer"Le gouvernement britannique a annoncé aujourd'hui que son programme de coupons Gigabit ruraux a reçu une augmentation de 22,2 millions de livres sterling par un total de 17 conseils locaux en Angleterre, ce qui a augmenté la taille de leurs bons et signifie que plus de foyers et d'entreprises peuvent désormais éventuellement installer un réseau ISP haut débit capable de 1 Gbps.
Le programme existant de connectivité Gigabit rural (RGC) de 200 millions de livres sterling est conçu pour aider les propriétés, en particulier celles situées dans certaines des régions rurales les plus reculées du Royaume-Uni, à accéder à un haut débit nettement plus rapide. Une partie de cela implique un système de bons, qui offre normalement jusqu'à 3500 £ pour les petites entreprises ou jusqu'à 1500 £ pour les résidents, pour les aider à installer une connexion haut débit ultrarapide ou gigabit (actuellement environ un quart des propriétés britanniques - 8 millions locaux - peuvent accéder à un service gigabit, mais principalement dans les zones urbaines via un investissement commercial)."
