 2024 results and 2025 objectives

 Press release of March 27, 2025 -

👉 Strong improvement in profitability and cash flow in 2024
👉 EBITDA +8%, ROC +425%, net result +300%
👉 Annual dividend of 5cts euro per share
👉 Maintaining momentum in 2025

The increase in OPEX (14,2M€ => 15,2M€) of 7% between 2023 and 2024 is linked to changes in perimeter: the integration of the companies Eclair Préservation and Eclair Digital Services in a full year in 2024 compared to a half-year in 2023, and the integration over two months of the Gamestream activity.
An operating expense (OPEX) is an ongoing cost for running a product, business, or system.
Its counterpart, a capital expenditure (capex), is the cost of developing or providing non-consumable parts for the product or system.

Perspectives 2025

Growth in both recurring revenue and gross margin remains at the heart of NETGEM's strategy for 2025.

To achieve this, the Group intends to continue to differentiate itself through innovation. This will serve both to retain existing customers and to conquer new markets. This is in particular the role that video games streaming and artificial intelligence will have to play in 2025, with for example the acquisition of a stake in the company BARY announced in March 2025.

As in the last two years, external growth operations and targeted partnerships will support the group’s strategy.

Thanks to its constant vigilance on operational costs and the end of significant investments in hardware (on behalf of operators), the group anticipates continuing the growth in profitability and free cash flow in 2025 with the same momentum as last year.

Mathias Hautefort, Managing Director of Netgem, declares
”Year 2024 confirmed the relevance of our positioning in the Entertainment Technology market and is the culmination of five years of patient and disciplined efforts and investments to build our profitability around a recurring business model.
Building on these achievements, with our teams, with our investments in innovation, such as recently in the field of artificial intelligence, and with our new organization around the Eclair and Pleio product lines, we have all the cards in hand to continue with the same momentum in 2025.”

Netgem leverages generative AI

to expand its service offering to media publishers by teaming up with Bary

"Netgem announces a strategic expansion in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) through its business dedicated to services for film and audiovisual publishers. This initiative marks a further step in Netgem's commitment to providing innovative solutions for the media industry.

Investment in R&D and strategic partnership with Bary
To realize this ambition, Netgem is investing in AI specialist Bary. This partnership will give Netgem access to a research and development unit dedicated to AI and having developed market-validated solutions. Netgem is thus strengthening its ability to innovate and bring out new products at an accelerated pace, without changing its associated cost structure. (...)"

Responsible AI at the service of creation
As a first application of this partnership with Bary, Netgem is launching a service for publishers, under the brand name TheSubtil.ai, which combines the efficiency of generative AI (LLM) with the human expertise of translators-adaptors, while preserving intellectual property rights. The translators on whom the new service relies retain their copyright and are remunerated for their work via their collective management society.

"A solution for localizing audiovisual works

Thanks to TheSubtil.ai, audiovisual companies will be able to localize their works, whether they are destined for the French or international market. This feature will enable them to reach a wider audience and maximize the potential of each piece of content. Since its conception in 2024, The Subtil.ai service has attracted the attention of major TV networks. As a design partner, Groupe M6 supported TheSubtil.ai in its development, testing and adjusting the solution in real-life conditions.

"Working with Bary is always a great experience. Together, we have created an innovative solution combining human and machine. Seeing this solution accessible to the whole market is a great proof of the success of our collaboration" says Alix de Goldschmidt, Innovation, IA Program & Data Director Groupe M6. "
