"Un nouveau fournisseur de contenu en langue coréenne, KCP (South Korean Content Platform), utilisera Kaltura pour son nouveau service OTT service
 KOCOWA...."

"The new OTT offering will deliver Korean drama content from multiple South Korean broadcasters, including KBS, MBC, SBS and other global partners.

KCP, headquartered in Los Angeles, is a joint venture of three major South Korean broadcasters looking to provide a next generation TV experience. KCP is calling itself the first "platform in platform" (PIP) OTT service. In the PIP model KCP will provide virtual access to its content for other OTT service partners. It's hoped that this will increase the level of control and security that KCP maintains over its content.

The Kaltura TV Platform allows viewing on any device. Kaltura has served as the system integrator and is providing an end-to-end OTT TV service for KCP, including content preparation, DRM, analytics and front-end applications.

“Asia Pacific, and specifically Korea, is a huge growth area for Kaltura across all of our solutions and industries,” commented Ron Yekutiel, Kaltura co-founder, chairman and CEO. “We are honoured to partner with KCP to help turn their unique vision into a reality by providing the biggest and best online TV experience for K-Drama fans the world over.”

KCP CTO Kunhee Park said: “We are very excited to team up with Kaltura to deliver the world’s most comprehensive OTT service for premium Korean content. KOCOWA will provide a fast and reliable VOD service for current K-Drama series, high quality subtitles created by professional translators, and a huge library of the hottest K-Drama content along with KOCOWA classics that never get old.”

Kaltura will also be providing Korean content delivery service for other big OTT services in the region."
