On the announce of Q1 2018 revenue, which reached € 5.3 million, Netgem comes to annonce that is preparing to launch in the UK its Soundbox product, a complete TV and OTT music offering coupled with a connected soundbar and voice control.
This "service product", launched on Amazon at the next TV Connect 2018, on on May 9th !!!

Soundbox, will be gradually distributed in the whole British market and in other
territories over the year 2018 !
Netgem sees, in the first quarter of 2018, a growth in the number of active user, more +34,000 (positive, but lower than expected, causing a slowdown in the deliveries of new terminals and slowing down revenues wich reached € 11.0 million in the first quarter of 2018, down 25% compared to the first quarter of 2017).
Without application of IFRS 15 done since January 1st 2018 (maintenance revenue billed in the first quarter are spread over the year) the decline in net revenue would have been 9% (not 17% vs Q1 2017).
To recall: "The new business model *, makes the growth of the results slower and not explosive as in the past, but what matters here is therefore a recurring and sustainable secure growth (always proportional to the growth of the base d active subscribers ! The CA is not the most important indicator (it can even drop more, because the new SaaS business model is put in place in a progressive form), but if the "Gross Margin" and "Net Profit" are the new business references !!!
