One of Northern Ireland’s leading Full Fibre broadband providers Fibrus is entering the television market for the first time with the launch of Fibrus TV.
The launch will see Fibrus offer a new television and entertainment service that will bring live TV, streaming services and gaming together through a single platform for its customer base, which now exceeds 155,000 homes and businesses.
Powered by Netgem's PLEIO entertainment platform, Fibrus TV will be available exclusively to Fibrus broadband customers
The launch will see Fibrus offer a new television and entertainment service that will bring live TV, streaming services and gaming together through a single platform for its customer base, which now exceeds 155,000 homes and businesses Fibrus TV is delivered through customers’ broadband connections, allowing customers to access free-to-air TV via Freely, without the need for a satellite dish or aerial. The package includes more than 100 live television channels, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5, plus over 150 additional streamed channels, streaming and entertainment apps from the Google Play Store, and a library of over 300+ cloud-based games.

Vodafone TV, un changement d’échelle pour Netgem:
➡️ Netgem a été retenu pour opérer Vodafone TV au Royaume-Uni via sa plateforme PLEIO, dans le cadre d’un accord pluriannuel. Le service sera proposé en marque blanche sur les applications et les décodeurs de l’opérateur, avec un lancement commercial prévu en octobre 2026.
➡️ Le potentiel adressable change nettement d’échelle. Vodafone compte 1,87 million de clients haut débit et près de 28 millions d’abonnés mobiles, auxquels Vodafone TV pourra être proposé. Ce dernier point est déterminant pour Netgem, dont les précédents partenaires britanniques disposaient de bases clients beaucoup plus limitées.
➡️ Le modèle économique du contrat constitue également un élément clé. PLEIO s’intègre directement aux applications et aux décodeurs de Vodafone, sans livraison de matériel ni box à financer. Cette configuration devrait ainsi améliorer les unit economics de Netgem au Royaume-Uni et soutenir le taux de marge brute, sans capex associé au déploiement.

Selon les hypothèses d’EuroLand Corporate, un taux d’attache de 5 % sur la base mobile et de 10 % sur le haut débit pourrait représenter environ 1,4 million d’abonnés à maturité. Les premiers indicateurs de commercialisation permettront de préciser progressivement l’impact du contrat, dont la contribution est attendue plus significative à partir de 2027.
