As a result, the netgem.tv service can now reach over 250,000 UK homes, complementing their access to gigabit-enabled fibre broadband. The milestone comes after netgem.tv added the Premier Sports channels to its platforms. The netgem.tv service now offers access to more than 100 live TV channels such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5, as well as a complete Freeview Play catch-up with more than 20,000 hours of content. It also offers access to streaming services such as Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Rakuten TV and Hayu.

In less than six months, netgem.tv has signed partnership agreements with 12 Ultrafast Fibre providers in the UK offering its TV and Streaming service to a reach of over a quarter of a million of the UK homes, complementing their access to gigabit-enabled fibre broadband.

This distribution acceleration comes some two weeks after (November 2019) the addition of Premier Sports channels to the netgem.tv inclusive premium content line up – which the platform suggests confirms the appetite from viewers and operators alike for a ‘skinny bundle’ entertainment package.

netgem.tv’s library incorporates over 100 live TV channels including the nation’s favourites such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 as well as a complete Freeview Play catch-up including 20,000+ hours of content. In addition, netgem.tv gives access to an array of streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, hayu, Rakuten TV, YouTube, and many more.
