With Google now paying Orange, the French telecom operator, for its mobile traffic, the competition between teleco providers and over-the-top (OTT) players (internet companies who provide services based on the data transportation through the pipe of telecom operators) has become more intense than ever.

Moreover, in China’s telecom market, MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators) will soon become a potential competitor to telecom operators. Simply shout ‘Alexa, ask Just Eat to re-order China Garden’ and it’ll carry out the order for you. Saying ‘Alexa, ask Just Eat where’s my food’ will also provide an update on your order’s status. Unfortunately you can’t make completely new orders through Just Eat yet, but the company is working on new commands for the future. 5. Doing your shopping Shopping with Amazon Echo Like to shop on Amazon? Prime members can now order products instantly using their voice. Simply say, ‘Alexa, order dog food’ or anything else of interest and it’ll do it for you. If you’re shopping elsewhere, be sure to use the handy shopping list tool – called a Skill - too. Just say, ‘Alexa, add bread, milk, tea bags and deodorant to my shopping list’. Then when you’re out, open the Alexa app on your phone and it’ll be listed there for you. 6. Traffic updates Checking travel with Amazon Echo If you’re worried the busy roads will make you late in the morning, Alexa will keep an eye on your commute. On the T-Box, the AFL app would show match replays of every game, quarter by quarter, unmetered for Telstra internet customers for free.
Now Telstra launched the T-Box replacement, Telstra TV, which also has an AFL app. Unfortunately match replays are not offered on this device, which was a value to many AFL supporters and was the envy of other sporting codes.
The T-box provided a way for AFL lovers to see their game (12 hours after the final siren) for free…many people cant afford Foxtel and this was a great solution. Now the greed of Telstra has taken this value add away.
Really disappointing. The same T-Box offer should be made available to Telstra TV users. I have contacted the AFL who have confirmed they authorise the same content that is currently on the T-Box to be made on Telstra TV but it is Telstra which has blocked it. The person at the AFL also indicated the AFL is dissappointed by this action as they want their game to be made available to as many sports fans as possible.
I cant understand why Telstra does this? The T-Box solution for the AFL is brilliant...the Telstra TV solution is rubbish. Please make AFL full game replays available on Telstra TV, unmetered, like the T-Box.

Ouvert à une extension
Comment évoluera Net +? L’association n’exclut pas de grandir. En face, UPC rachète régulièrement, des deux côtés de la Sarine, des petits téléréseaux. «Nous sommes très ouverts à étendre Net +, affirme son directeur commercial. Il existe encore des câblo-opérateurs indépendants en Suisse romande et ils sont les bienvenus au sein de notre alliance».
Du côté des services, Net + veut aussi progresser. Son appartenance à l’association faîtière SUISSEDIGITAL lui a déjà permis d’acquérir les droits de diffusion TV des matches de hockey sur glace, qui ont échappé à Swisscom lors d’enchères récentes. Mais Net + pourrait aller plus loin en proposant un service de téléphonie mobile en s’alliant à l’un des trois opérateurs actifs sur le marché – une offre pourrait être lancée cette année, comparable à celle que propose déjà UPC à ses clients. Net + veut aussi percer, ces prochains mois, sur le marché de la clientèle commerciale.
