Well, this is interesting. As Mark said, some of us remember Vodafone’s launch of Pay TV in the UK which got pulled in 2017 at a cost of millions. Now we have this hub which is intriguing as it’s another Freely device – but compared with Netgem’s puck its specification is much superior. Although Netgem is heavily involved the Vodafone hub uses Netgem’s cloud platform and not its hardware.

So who can use this hub?
It will connect only to Vodafone’s routers (fixed line and 5G FWA), and the best estimate I have is about 2.18–2.27 million in total (significant but not huge). In comparison the other Freely devices, the Netgem Pleio and Manhattan Aero, will work with any ISP.
But there’s more: Vodafone mobile users can get this TV service through a companion app, so what Vodafone is offering is a home + mobile converged platform whilst Pleio is just a home‑only puck.

So why re-enter the congested Pay TV market?

👉 The strategy is to boost fixed line and 5G FWA broadband by the new Vodafone TV service, i.e. broadband is what really matters. And the companion app is important: get the Vodafone mobile users hooked on the TV service and it’s a small step to getting a lot of them to subscribe to fixed line or 5G FWA broadband with the hub when their BT/Virgin Media/Sky subscription ends."

I would like to share some fantastic news for Netgem.

We announce today that Netgem's PLEIO platform was selected by VodafoneThree for its Vodafone television and entertainment service.

Vodafone has appointed Netgem as a single partner across technology, content and operations.

VodafoneThree is the UK’s largest mobile network operator serving the fixed and mobile market, formed following the merger of Vodafone UK and Three UK in June 2025. The launch of Vodafone TV builds on VodafoneThree’s £11bn investment to build the UK’s best network.

For Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director, VodafoneThree: “Our Vodafone TV service is bringing all the entertainment families love into one simple experience — live TV with Freely, leading streaming apps, over 150+ extra channels and more than 300 Cloud gaming titles, all delivered through a compact 4K, Dolby‑enabled hub. By partnering with Netgem and its PLEIO platform, we’re able to bring this complete service together under one roof, giving our customers a smarter, faster and more intuitive way to find and enjoy great entertainment across mobile and broadband.”

From today, the television service of one of Europe's largest operators runs on Netgem's platform PLEIO in the United Kingdom, and is operated by our teams. This is the model - with the WATCH / STREAM / PLAY approach - we have built the company around in Europe and beyond.

In what is arguably Europe’s most significant and sophisticated pay-TV market, VodafoneThree rekindle consumer interest and reshuffle the cards of convergence. In a consolidating European market, this example could inspire many others.

I would like to thank Vodafone Management for their trust in Netgem solution and congratulate our team for this achievement.

In the run-up to IBC 2026, Netgem is taking WATCH, STREAM and PLAY one at a time.

"Starting with PLAY — so let me be precise:
Cloud gaming on Vodafone TV is provided by Netgem.
It's included in the Vodafone TV package — no separate subscription, no extra cost, no upsell.
It's a curated library of 300+ high-quality titles, selected for Vodafone's customer segments rather than assembled for volume.

It is NOT an App customers have to go and find, download and separately subscribe to for an extra £10 or even £15.

It's native to the product — one device, one UI, one remote, one subscription.

That's WATCH. STREAM. PLAY. — the Netgem proposition, and the reason all three sit side by side on Vodafone TV rather than one being bolted on afterwards."

Proud of what the Netgem and Vodafone teams have built together: the best PLAY experience inside a complete TV service. And it's only the start. Mathias Hautefort Joseph Haddad

    2026e
    CA : 33,8 M€
    EBITDA : 5,4 M€
    ROC : 3,0 M€
    RN : 2,4 M€

    2027e
    CA : 35,3 M€
    EBITDA : 8,1 M€
    ROC : 6,5 M€
    RN : 5,2 M€

    Aujourd’hui, on a donc principalement :

    Consensus Boursorama : autour de 1,30 €
    EuroLand Corporate : 1,50 € / Achat
